We built off the success of the Future Labs at NYU Tandon to create AI NexusLab, our four-month acceleration program in partnership with ff Venture Capital (ffVC). Unlike accelerators with rigid curricula and a quantity-over-quality approach, NexusLab doesn’t lock startups into a set, cookie-cutter program or force founders to meet with an endless array of uninvolved mentors. The program is tailored to the needs of each team in the cohort.

Our mentors are hand-picked for each program and, sometimes, each team. They stay involved over the course of the entire program and beyond, giving you a chance to build relationships and ensure funders are invested in your success. We believe your time is best spent building your business, and our long-term, relationship-based mentor model succeeds in moving you closer to your goals by avoiding irrelevant and unnecessary meetings and mentors.

Each company accepted to the AI NexusLab also becomes part of the ffVC portfolio. In addition to a dedicated ffVC partner, each company receives support across all aspects of company-building from ffVC’s acceleration team, which remains accessible beyond the end of the program.

Each cohort is limited to a small number of startups — no more than seven per class. This allows us to bring in only the most pertinent, committed mentors and to provide a level of support not possible at unfocused, large-class accelerators. We believe each startup is unique, and any attempt to address your needs with a generic curriculum is ineffective and a waste of time.
